楽天グループ各社にて楽器を趣味で楽しむ有志によるクラブ活動として2021年に創設され、2023年1月から本格始動。2023年7月には東京ドームにて楽天スーパーナイターでの国歌演奏を担当するなど、社内イベントを中心に活動を行ってきた。普段から平日勤務後や週末にはそれぞれのアマチュア団体にて活動したり、ソロで楽しんだりと、音楽をこよなく愛して楽器演奏を極め楽しんでいるメンバーが、楽天という共通のコミュニティで繋がり1つのサウンドを奏でるべく活動している。2024年11月、「楽天フィルハーモニー管弦楽団」と称して初の自主公演を開催。

The Rakuten Orchestra Club was founded in 2021 and officially launched in January 2023 by employees from various Rakuten Group companies who enjoy playing musical instruments as a hobby. So far, its activities have mainly focused on company events: in July 2023, the club had the honour of performing the national anthem at the Rakuten Super Baseball Game at Tokyo Dome. The members, who share a love and passion for music and enjoy playing instruments to the fullest, work to create a unified sound by connecting with each other in the shared community of Rakuten. In November 2024, the club holds its first independent concert under the name “Rakuten Philharmonic Orchestra” .

中央大学文学部卒業／桐朋学園大学カレッジ・ディプロマコース修了
14 歳でチューバを始め、18 歳でコントラバスに転向。中央大学在学中に桐朋学園大学に合格、併せて学ぶ。 これまでにチューバを野本和也氏に、コントラバスを故上杉隆治／故西田直文の両氏に師事。 また、河原泰則／中田延亮／ペトル・ユウガ各氏のレッスンも受講。在学中より都内を拠点に演奏活動を始め、ロイヤルチェンバーオーケストラでは首席奏者を務める事もあるなど、現在はオーケストラを中心に多方面で活動中。 ヴァチカン国際音楽祭を始め、アメリカ・イタリア・オーストリア・スイス・ドイツなど海外での演奏も多い。 桐朋学園指揮科講師でもあった上杉氏の影響から独学で指揮を始める。 母校、中央大学管弦楽団名誉指揮者の故小松一彦氏をはじめとし、国内外で活躍する指揮者との共演を通じ多くの薫陶を受け、学生時代より様々な指揮者の副指揮者を務める。 また、若手音楽家による自主活動のオーケストラ「Sinfonia Wisteria」を中心となって企画し、プロデュースと指揮の両面から公演を成功へと導く。 小柄ながらもダイナミックかつ表情豊かな指揮は、演奏者・聴衆の双方から支持されている。 自身が大学オーケストラの出身という事もありアマチュアの指導にも時間の許す限り参加し、多くの団体で指揮者・トレーナーとして精力的に活動している。 複数の新団体の設立にも企画段階から関わるなど、その情熱と団員の目線に立った指導には定評がある。

He graduated from the Faculty of Letters at Chuo University and completed the College Diploma Course at Toho Gakuen School of Music. He began playing the tuba at the age of 14 and switched to the double bass at 18. While studying at Chuo University, he was also accepted into Toho Gakuen School of Music and pursued both studies simultaneously. He studied tuba under Kazuya Nomoto, double bass under the late Takaharu Uesugi and the late Naofumi Nishida, and also attended lessons from Yasunori Kawahara, Nobuaki Nakata, and Petru Iuga. While still in university, he began performing professionally based in Tokyo, occasionally serving as principal player for the Royal Chamber Orchestra. He is currently active in a wide range of performances, primarily with orchestras. He has also performed globally in countries such as the United States, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, including at the Vatican International Music Festival. Infuenced by the late Takaharu Uesugi, who was a professor of conducting at Toho Gakuen, he began studying conducting on his own. He received valuable mentorship through collaborations with renowned conductors, including the late Kazuhiko Komatsu, honorary conductor of the Chuo University Orchestra, and many others active both in Japan and abroad. From his student days, he has served as assistant conductor to various conductors. He played a central role in organizing, producing, and conducting performances for “Sinfonia Wisteria”, an orchestra formed by young musicians, successfully guiding their performances from both a production and conducting perspective. Though of small stature, his dynamic and expressive conducting style has garnered support from both performers and audiences. With his background in a university orchestra, he dedicates as much time as possible to coaching amateur players, taking positions as trainer or conductor in various orchestras. Also involved in establishing various orchestras, his passion and training skills are highly praised. Currently, he serves as the principal conductor for the Tokai University Orchestra and the Musica Neurochirurgiana (the orchestra of the Japan Neurosurgical Society). He is also the founder of Sinfonietta “Piazza”.
