PROFILE

Conductor 指揮｜Daisuke Hori 堀 大輔

Studied conducting and trumpet at Tokyo College of Music. Received instruction from Junichi Hirokami, Yasuhiko Shiozawa, and Velizar Genchev in conducting; Teruyo Hayashi and Mineo Sugiki in trumpet; and Eisuke Tsuchida in piano and musical analysis. Further refined his skills with Gianluigi Gelmetti at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Italy. In both 2011 and 2012, selected as an outstanding conductor at the Workshop with Michiyoshi Inoue, performing at the final concerts.

In 2014, awarded Third Prize at the 2nd Córdoba Orchestra Conducting Competition held in Spain, gaining international recognition. In the field of opera, accumulated extensive experience as a member of the music staff for major productions in Japan, demonstrating exceptional skills in the comprehensive construction of stage works. He holds a Master’s degree in Italian Literature from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Renowned for his profound interpretations grounded in deep humanistic insight, his multilayered approach goes beyond the score and offers new perspectives to the world of music.

With outstanding expertise in both music and language, acclaimed as “a bridge between sound and words,” contributing to artistic expression from an interdisciplinary perspective. Currently serves as a Lecturer in Conducting at Tokyo College of Music.

東京音楽大学にて指揮とトランペットを学ぶ。指揮を広上淳一、汐澤安彦、ヴェリサー・ゲンチェフの各氏に、トランペットを林昭世、杉木峯夫の各氏に、ピアノ・楽曲分析を土田英介氏に師事。イタリア・キジアーナ音楽院にてジャンルイジ・ジェルメッティ氏のもとでさらに研鑽を積む。2011 年・2012 年には「井上道義による指揮者講習会」にて両年とも優秀者に選出されファイナルコンサートに出演。

2014 年にはスペインで開催された「第 2 回コルドバ・オーケストラ指揮コンクール」にて第 3 位を受賞するなど、国際的にも評価を高めている。オペラの分野においては、国内主要プロダクションにて音楽スタッフとして豊富な経験を積み、舞台芸術における総合的な構築力にも優れる。学術的な領域においては、東京外国語大学にてイタリア文学の修士号を取得。深遠な人文学的知見を背景にした作品解釈には定評があり、楽譜を超えた多層的なアプローチで音楽界に新たな視点をもたらしている。

音楽と言語の両領域において卓越した専門性を持ち、学際的な視座から芸術表現に貢献する「音と言葉を架橋する存在」として注目を集めている。東京音楽大学指揮科講師。

Violoin Solo ヴァイオリン独奏｜Yuta Hoshina 保科 結太

He began studying the violin at the age of six. He graduated at the top of his class from the Tokyo College of Music and is currently a first-year Master’s student there, studying as a Special Scholarship Student. He is a recipient of the 2026 Munetsugu Angel Fund / Japan Federation of Musicians Scholarship, and was awarded scholarships by the Aoyama Music Foundation in 2024 and 2025.

He won First Prize in the Strings Division at the 22nd Tokyo College of Music Competition, Gold Prize at the 2nd Setagaya Music Competition, and the Grand Prize at the 30th Kanagawa Music Competition. He also received the Encouragement Prize at the Tokyo Regional Round of the 69th All Japan Student Music Competition and was selected for the National Competition, among other awards.

He made his solo recital debut at the “10th Classic Yokohama Salon Concert,” presented by The Mainichi Newspapers. While at university, he has served as concertmaster and soloist with various student orchestras. He is a member of Piano Trio Linosta.

He has studied the violin with Yoshio Unno, Yasuko Otani, Megumi Shimane, and Naoko Nakagawa, and chamber music with Hiroyuki Yamaguchi. He completed the 34th Kyoto French Music Academy, where he studied violin with Régis Pasquier and chamber music with Diana Ligeti.

横浜市出身。6歳よりヴァイオリンを始める。東京音楽大学を首席卒業。現在、同大学院修士課程１年に特別特待奨学生として在学中。2026年度宗次エンジェル基金／公益社団法人日本演奏連盟新進演奏家奨学生。2024・2025年度公益財団法人青山音楽財団奨学生。

第22回東京音楽大学コンクール 弦楽器部門 第1位。第2回世田谷音楽コンクール 弦楽器部門 金賞。第30回かながわ音楽コンクール 最優秀賞。第69回全日本学生音楽コンクール 東京大会奨励賞 全国大会入選など受賞多数。毎日新聞社主催「第10回 クラシック・ヨコハマ サロンコンサート」にてソロリサイタルデビュー。在学中は多くの学生オーケストラでコンサートマスターやソリストを務める。『 Piano Trio Linosta 』メンバー。これまでに海野義雄、大谷康子、島根恵、中川直子の各氏に師事。室内楽を山口裕之氏に師事。第34回京都フランス音楽アカデミーを修了し、ヴァイオリンをレジス・パスキエ、室内楽をディアナ・リゲティの各氏に師事。

みどころ

International Youth Orchestra at Tokyo College of Music was launched in January 2022 and will hold its sixth regular concert in 2026. Young musicians gather at the college every Sunday to practice in a friendly atmosphere, transcending nationality and language barriers.

東京音楽大学国際青少年オーケストラは、2022年1月に始動され、2026年今年で6回目の定期演奏会が開催できることになりました。若い音楽家たちが毎週日曜日に本学に集まり、国籍や言葉の垣根を超えて和気あいあいと練習を重ねています。
